What iOS version do I need?
Arxivo requires iOS 17.0 or iPadOS 17.0 or later.
Is Arxivo free?
Yes! Arxivo is completely free with no in-app purchases. Download it from the App Store.
Which academic databases are supported?
Arxivo searches 10 databases: arXiv, PubMed, Semantic Scholar, OpenAlex, CrossRef, CORE, DOAJ, Europe PMC, DBLP, and OSTI.GOV.
Can I read papers offline?
Yes! You can download PDFs to your device for offline reading. Downloaded papers are saved to your library.
Does my library sync across devices?
Yes, if you have iCloud enabled. Your saved papers, favorites, and reading history sync via CloudKit.
Does Arxivo collect my data?
No. Arxivo doesn't collect any personal data or analytics. Your library is stored locally and in your iCloud account. See our Privacy Policy for details.
How do I search by DOI or arXiv ID?
Just paste the DOI (e.g., 10.1234/example) or arXiv ID (e.g., 2301.00001) into the search bar. Arxivo will auto-detect and look it up.
Where can I download Arxivo?
Arxivo is available on the App Store for iPhone and iPad.
