Arxivo does not sell or share your personal information with third parties.
Data We Collect
- Account: Email and hashed password for authentication.
- Library: Papers you save, reading progress, and custom lists.
- Preferences: Your selected interests and followed authors.
- Search: Queries are proxied to academic APIs but not stored long-term.
Third-Party Services
Arxivo queries 12 academic databases (arXiv, PubMed, OpenAlex, etc.) to search papers. Each has their own privacy policies.
Data Storage
Your data is stored securely on our servers (Hetzner, EU). Passwords are hashed with BCrypt. All connections use HTTPS.
Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently removes all your data.
